marvelous app. really gives me the opportunity to display my dominance over all these Chess peasants.

This is the best chess game Ive played on the App Store because it has both single and multiplayer and the pieces are easy to see. However there doesnt seem to be any difference in the difficulty levels. Ive been playing chess since I was 5 and I can barely beat easy mode occasionally. People who havent really played chess are just going to get frustrated and uninstall but I like the challenge. The CPU always seems to be a few steps ahead and if you dont threaten its pieces constantly, it will set up moves against you very quickly and beat you and since you have to constantly threaten its pieces, you cant really set up your own attacks because it will beat you to it everytime. Yes this is how chess is played but for someone who is just learning they wont even be able to practice any strategies before getting absolutely destroyed even on easy. Please dumb down the CPU a little for the easier modes and this game will be perfect!

Lots of fun .... Best part is the great chat app.... Learn about all kinds of folks and where they are BIG problem.... How can you stop jerks from simply sitting there and making you end. Even if they time out they can sit there and force you to leave, which becomes a loss for you.

I have a iPad air and this app is very very slowly

It doesnt usually realize when the opponent leaves the game, making you wait up to five minutes for it to randomly decide if you won or not. Often it will give the game to the opponent that abandoned the game. Also, game time is unlimited, but each move can take up to five minutes so losing players often wait until the time limit is nearly up for every single move in hopes that the winner will just give up. if you you can live with these flaws, the game has some benefits as it connects you with players from all corners of the world.

love the app but too many times when you have won a game it gives the win to your opponent .

Theres some need to fix.

Seems good at first, but after a few matches you get stuck with Chinese people who beat you in 2 minutes. Needs better matching. DO NOT GET THIS APP IF YOU ENJOY CHESS AND WANT A FAIR GAME!

I didnt put a password to my last login and I cnt get it back pls help.. And sometimes it glitches a pawn and its there but it isnt.. I would also like to be able to change the country where I am from cause it says I am from USA but I am not so please fix

You cant add or invite your friends.

This is not chess as we know it! If all pieces are removed=draw! Doesnt matter if you have a won endgame, draw. The Nazi that runs this crap hates Americans, so if you are wining CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Americans ALWAYS LOSE!! Do not get this app ever!! Apple needs to delete this app forever!!

Update 3: People are still using Lag Switch on me, I am not playing this app anymore. I think people will use the chat to get your IP if you answer in chat back then they will Lag Switch the servers for the chess app and corrupt your side of the game on the sever so it will say it is the other guys turn but it is really is your turn but you wont be able to move or do anything about it while the clock ticks down and I am the one who loses. Its an easy win by cheating for other people. Plus this app dont recognize real draws in real chess games!!!! Also the app will give you incorrect number of loses, you could have for example 5 loses and lose another and it will say you lost 7 instead of 6. The foolery and fuckery! I use to love this app, now I hate it with a passion and there is never anyone to complain to about these problems. Update#2: It has been brought to my attention that I have been a repeated victim of "Lag Switching." My opponent will use "Lag switching" to freeze or corrupt the whole game for my screen to say it is the opponents move when the clocks is counting down but I am the one who loses the game for claims I left the game and my internet stopped working which is both a lie because I am sitting next door to my cell phone company with LTE and all 5 bars when I lost the match that I was about to win. This app does not recognize "Lag Switching" which to me is hacking chess games for the losing guy to win by freezing your whole game not being able to move because it says its not your turn and when the clock stops you are the one who loses even when you were about to checkmate your opponent, This is why I am not playing this app anymore. I refuse to keep loses big points because of the opponent using lag switch hacking which is only used in chess games! Update: The same thing happen to again, I was winning, the game kept saying it is not my turn then the clock ran out and I lose? This game is a cheat, I lost 9 points for nothing. I never left the game and my internet never stopped working, this game cheated me 3 times. I was winning in a chess game when suddenly I put the guy in a check, he doesnt move, 2 minutes later and counting he is chatting with me telling me to go, I said no its your turn you are in check, when the time ran out the screen said sorry unfortunately you lost the game due to lost internet connection? Thats BS, all that time wasted plus the phone said I was using LTE with three bars and I was chatting with the guy all the way til time ran out and the screen still had the other guy in check. So basically this game will cheat you on purpose to mess up your perfect record and push you back down the rankings. That by itself made me not want to use and play this app anymore because this has happen to me a few times before!
